The following dealers have applied for membership. Each one will have supplied us with all the information needed to enable us to make a fair and accurate appraisal of their business. If after discussion amongst the board members, their application is approved, they will then be added to the Approved list.

Some applications may take longer to approve than others, for many and varied reasons, but only those dealers that have their names on the approved list may not use the AFTAL name in any way. If you should find a dealer usng the AFTAL name who is not on the approved list, then please let us know immediately so that we can take action.

 

Please be aware that there are now a number of dealers who are not AFTAL members, and indeed may well have been either expelled or refused membership, who are listing items on their website or elsewhere as 'purchased from an AFTAL dealer or member' or 'we abide by the AFTAL code of conduct' or similar.

It should be noted that AFTAL do not authenticate or provide COA's or any other such authenticity, and do not condone any dealer using the above words unless they are a member, in which case they MUST include their trading name and member number so that you can check with the above list. AFTAL dealers do of course issue their own COA's as required for items they may sell, and these may have their AFTAL logo on them, but must include the dealers full business details and membership number.

If you see anyone offering signed items using the above words or description, then you should always ask yourself why anyone should make such a statement when they are not members themselves?
