Autografica has been around since 1989, when the business was started as an extension of a hobby first begun in 1964. The previous 15 years running my own retail and consulting business stood me in good stead, and Autografica has continued to grow.
In 1999 I joined with another dealer to launch ‘Autographica’ a twice-annual autograph event, which now attracts dealers and collectors from all over the world, and this has also given me the chance of working with such legendary names as, Sir John Mills, Buzz Aldrin and Ursula Andress to name but three.

I am currently the UACC ethics board member for the UK as well as RD 179, and AFTAL board member. I have written a number of published articles related to autographs, and have appeared on TV and radio on dozens of occasions, including work on ‘The Real Hustle’ BBC’s ‘Inside Out’ programs and most recently ‘Fake Britain’ again for the BBC.

Day to day stock varies, but we normally have around 1000 very varied items listed on eBay at any one time, plus many more on the website. My own main interest is Space and Motorsport, although we keep stock in many and varied fields.

We also offer appraisals, authentications and valuations as well as offering advice on autographs for investment, and most recently have been tasked with creating the first ever autograph course for AFTAL. These have now been run on three occasions, each time selling out. Keep an eye on the AFTAL site for new dates.
